Sensei Peta GoodmanI first saw Aikido in 1974 and was attracted to it as it looked like ballet but with a bang.

After 38 years its combination of beauty and power continue to fascinate me. Now I am a Senior Instructor and a Coach Tutor and delight in passing on my own insights, and knowledge to students as a class instructor and the sheer enthusiasm for learning as an aikidoka.

Practice is still a lot of fun and there are new approaches to established techniques that challenge me, even as a high grade!

My personal goal? To develop my aikido to be as effective as possible whilst appearing as natural and unremarkable as breathing. That should keep me busy for a few more years.
